Setting a new standard for high-speed accuracy, the BlueRay™ probe station is precisely the solution you need for wafer-level functional test of discrete devices. Conventional "pad-hoppers" offer speed, but at the cost of accuracy and reliability. The BlueRay prober overcomes these obstacles to offer you an accurate and reliable probe system and significant return on investment.
Two versions are available: the PA200 BlueRay and the PA200A BlueRay. The PA200 BlueRay delivers the highest speed for high-throughput benchtop testing. The Advanced PA200A BlueRay can be upgraded with a thermal chuck and has the ability to be upgraded with a specially designed wafer-handling robot that can be docked onto the prober. This upgrade is done in the field and when you need it.
Regardless of the version, the BlueRay family is built on the cornerstones of modularity and flexibility. Moreover, the BlueRay can be configured for different types of tests quickly and easily, and seamlessly integrates with all automation software.
SUSS MicroTec has also partnered with optical measurement expert Instrument Systems to develop MultiDie Testing™ technology. This enables the BlueRay and the integrated, high-performance measurement equipment to test up to 70,000 LEDs per hour. That's three times more than any other solution available.
