SUSS MicroTec has made the fastest wafer-level solution for testing discrete devices even better. The BlueRay™ probe system is now the only probe system in the world that can be upgraded from a semiautomatic to a fully-automated wafer prober in the field and in only a couple of hours. To meet growing production demands, a unique, wafer-handling robot can be docked onto the PA200A BlueRay. Once the docking process is complete, the robot then handles all wafers automatically.
The testing application that you develop in the lab on the semiautomatic BlueRay can be moved to the production floor using the same probing platform. All that's required is a simple upgrade to the fully automated AP200 BlueRay. Since the test platform remains constant from ramp-up to production, changeover costs and capital investments are reduced.
The BlueRay is precise and flexible enough for highly accurate testing of any optoelectronic, MEMS or RF device. Plus, the BlueRay has a high mean time between failures (MTBF) for reliable, on-wafer probing.
