To apply photosensitive resists or other coating materials to a substrate, several methods can be used. Thus, by far the most commonly used method is spin coating. It´s used for substrates that are flat and have a relatively smooth surface. When it comes to substrates with a varying topography, spray coating is a well proven possibility to get a homogenous coating of the surface.
